Citywide Garage Sale

The City of Tracy is pleased to announce the City-Wide Garage Sale on the “East” side of Tracy Boulevard to be held on Saturday, September 25th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this event which promotes the reuse and recycling of furniture, appliances, electronics, and other household items that normally are disposed of into the landfill.

This free event features garage sales throughout the east side of Tracy and gives residents the opportunity to sell their items rather than throwing them away. To be part of the garage sale, residents must register with the
Public Works Department. All participants will be listed on a map. The maps will be available on the City website and in City buildings, local businesses, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Tracy residents within the City limits who wish to participate in this event must complete a registration form and return it to the Public Works Department by September 9th. Registration entitles participants to have their address placed on the “Garage Sale Map.” This event will be advertised in several publications throughout San Joaquin County.
